C001: LE CAUCHEMAR
“If dreams come true, what about the nightmares?”
The story starts in FW20. The luxury dream becomes a nightmare for one season. Our Fall/Winter 2020 collection is completely related to the definition of a nightmare. Le Cauchemar (The Nightmare): a frightening dream. Fall/Winter 2020 contains dark days, dark colors, dark designs, and dark shoots.
C001 RELEASE 1: ‘ATHÈNES’
Inspired by the old Greek culture and mythology. The Athènes collection contains 3D-prints of Zeus and Poseidon. Zeus: Ancient Greek thunder and sky God. Also known as "King of Gods" in the Greek culture. His name exudes power and courage. Poseidon: Ancient Greek God of the sea, storm, and earthquakes. Poseidon is known as violent and his temperament is described as unstable. This creates an aura of fear around his name. The story of Zeus and Poseidon gave us the inspiration to release an 'Athènes' collection. It was our mission to search for characteristics in the story that match the Le Cauchemar chapter. These characteristics have been put into the first release of C001.
C001 RELEASE 2: ‘QUARTIER 93’
Inspired by the streets of Seine-Saint-Denis, also known as 93. Seine-Saint-Denis was created in 1968 as a part of Seine in the Suburbs of Paris. The poverty rate in region 93 is twice the average rate in France and the unemployment rate has been above the national average for years. Poverty is often a cause for crime and lately, 93 has developed into a place feared all over France because of the high crime rates in the suburbs. In the Le Rêve Luxueux vision, the things that make places like Seine-Saint-Denis beautiful, are the ambitions and dreams created in such an environment. Children and teenagers that are willing to chase their dreams, no matter what. The material used for the Quartier 93 sweater is the highest available streetwear material. The oversized fit with the dropped shoulders makes this release even more 'street'. The 'quartier 93' release consists of a calm but tough design on extraordinary high-quality streetwear material. Representing our slogan, "Where the street meets luxury".
C001 RELEASE 3: ‘TMD II’
The follow-up of our 'TMD' t-shirts. We tried to make this design as simple as possible, to continue our 'basic' line. Just a different letter type to match the chapter. Heavyweight, Ultra Luxury, Premium Comfort.
